Julia Munn Clarinet/ Saxaphone |
Julia Munn studied at Surrey University specialising in performance of twentieth century solo and chamber works for clarinet. She was co-director of the ensemble ‘Quorum’, which secured commissions from many composers, including Franco Donatoni, whose “Spice” they recorded for BBC Radio 3’s “Midnight Oil”. ‘Quorum’ was also the resident ensemble with the contemporary dance company “Dance Advance”, playing with them in the UK, Europe and China. She was also a member of the ‘Varese Ensemble’ and Ian Gardiner’s ‘George W. Welch’. Julia is co-director of Musicstage Promotions and continues to perform and record on a free-lance basis.
