Walter Fabeck is a pianist and composer working in numerous areas of contemporary music and performing arts. He has performed with Lontano, Icebreaker and the London Sinfonietta and is regularly engaged as pianist and musical director at London’s National Theatre. He has pioneered a new approach to live electronic music through his work with his self-created instrument the “Chromasone”, which developed from research in 1993 at Holland’s Royal Conservatory and STEIM institute.
